Michael Brandow is an author and journalist living in New York City. His upcoming book is A MATTER OF BREEDING: A biting history of pedigree dogs and how the quest for status has harmed man’s best friend (Beacon Press, February 3, 2015). Michael’s first book was NEW YORK’S POOP SCOOP LAW: Dogs, the Dirt, and Due Process (Purdue University Press, 2008). He was a guest blogger for The BARk magazine on the AKC’s puppy mill scandal.
